I'd like to thank God for the amazing experience He gave our youth group at the Surrendered youth convention. We participated in fun, passionate (and loud!)worship, saw people healed, and were inspired to become revivalists in our generation. For me especially, it was a time in which I discovered that God REALLY LOVES me and REALLY HEALS me!
But in one of the first worship services at convention, I encountered God in one of the most subtle yet phenomenal ways I ever have in my life. I was sitting in the bleachers just thinking about God and worshipping Him. Then all of a sudden I heard in my Spirit, "You're going to Bible College." So what else could I say but "OK!". So in a few years I'll be leaving for Master's College, and I'm super excited! But what made this experience really cool was that for the past year or more I have been trying to figure out what I'm supposed to do with my life! And at these conventions God has shown me time and again that He cares about every aspect of our lives -- even the stuff that we think is inferior or meaningless to an all-powerful God. I know for a fact that God is real and that He speaks, and I pray that everyone in our church will experience for themselves how God is head-over-heels in love with them! And guess what? It's nothing we could ever do to deserve this love, because He's already done it all!
