What Our Guests Can Expect When Attending CPC For The First Time

Upon your arrival to our church you will be greeted by a member of the church assigned as greeter standing at the entrance of the foyer. The greeter will shake you hand and will introduce himself or herself to you. The greeter will offer you a church bulletin, a visitors card to be filled out by you and placed in the offering plate or you can give it back to the greeter when it's completed. The greeter will then escort you to a seat at your discretion.

You then will experience a 20-30 minute period of continued worship in song and praise. The music is contemporary and the worship is audible, spontaneous and most often uninterrupted. Right after this period of worship annoucements are given followed by the receiving of an offering. Supporters of the church give weekly financial donations to the church. Giving is not a requirement for attendance at our church. Children, at this point in the service, are dismissed from the main service to attend children's church in the Fellowship Hall in the same building. Pastor Natalie, our Family Pastor, is the leader of Children's Church.

The worship will continue for another 15-20 minutes. Right after the worship a Pastor will then shares the word of God from the pulpit to the congragation for about 30-40 minutes. An invitation may be given to individuals to come to faith in Christ. The new believers receiving Jesus into their hearts will be mentored by one of the members of the Ministry Team. The new believer will receive discipleship ( Bible lessons) ) material and a Bible at no cost to the person receiving it. It is our desire that your time spent with us will be positive.
