Every year we invest in the lives of children in our community by running a morning program for one week in the summer that emphasizes positive connections and empowerment for success..
We believe in empowering the kids of our community to live meaningful lives by tackling some of the “Big Picture” questions of life, and that is exactly what we hope to accomplish with this VBS camp program.
The program accomplishes this through the drama, music, and story elements of each day; kids are also given the opportunity to participate in group games, crafts and snack time. This all takes place within a healthy team atmosphere which fosters meaningful friendships and provides an environment where kids can build relationships with some positive role models in our own community.
The grand finale is a Family BBQ where parents and kids can strengthen the connections made during the week as well as their own family bonds.
We'll be announcing next summer's VBS Camp dates sometime in February 2011, so stay tuned!
